In order to better understand a watchman’s prophetic message from God, we must remember that those called by God to watch over or be watchmen for His people will be trouble-shooters, or those looking for problems so they can give prophetic warnings from God of impending problems or trouble. This is for the purpose of giving people an opportunity to prepare themselves spiritually and physically for what lies ahead. Because of this a watchman’s prophetic words are often dismissed as “doom and gloom” messages and the watchmen is labeled as being a “trouble maker” rather than being God’s “trouble shooters.” According to the Bible We are living in the “last days” … which are said to be “perilous times that would be hard to deal with and hard to bear…” (see 2 Tim 3:1) AMP. Therefore, we need to take seriously the words of God’s grace that are given to His true watchman, which can edify us through God’s words of instruction, correction and direction, so we can be prepared to face what we will endure. The messages below are these kinds of watchman messages. I encourage you to pray about and meditate on them and allow the Holy Spirit to confirm to your spirit what is said. They can be a great blessing to those who “have ears to hear what the Spirit is saying” in the days ahead.
*(Ezek 3:17) “Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore
hear a word from My mouth, and give them warning from Me. NKJV
*(Ezek 33:2-4) When I bring the sword upon a land, and the people of the land I take a man from their territory and make him their watchman… when he sees the sword coming upon the land, if he blows the trumpet and warns the people… then whoever hears the sound of the trumpet and does not take warning, if the sword comes and takes him away, his blood shall be on his own head. NKJV
